Both of these tenants exceed $2000 p.s.f in sales and differentiate the Prudential Center from the competition. In September 2005, Westminster participated in the groundbreaking of The Orchard Town Center, a 1-million-square-foot open-air shopping and entertainment center at 144th and I-25, just south of E-470, in Westminster. This mall is the culmination of years of planning and negotiations by our city. Without the precise and knowledgeable work of The Laramie Company, Westminster would not be anticipating the addition of a regional mall as an amenity for our citizens and as a revenue source for our city.
Under the direction of Mary Beth Jenkins, The Laramie Company provided development and retail consulting services, demographic analysis, land assemblage and brokerage services for the shopping district, a project of Forest City California. The Laramie Company also represented AMC Theaters, a major tenant, in lease negotiations.
